The transfer takes a few days to be completed, specifically the time mainly depends on the response times of the current LOU managing the code.
If your code is due to expire or has already expired, you can pay for renewal when you fill in the transfer request. Once the transfer procedure has been completed, your code will also be renewed.
The transfer allows an LEI code to be moved from another provider to ID LEI. It is always completely free of charge.
